Congratulations to our Associate Engineer Nicholas (Nick) Karpathy, ENV SP and our Associate Landscape Designer Tyler Reed who both recently graduated with Masters degrees. Nick (pictured to the left) graduated on May 9 with his Masters in Civil Engineering from the University of Miami and on May 5 Tyler graduated with his Masters in Community and Economic Development from Pennsylvania State University.

CMA Participated in Relay For Life

CMA staff members, family and friends, participated in the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life at Cooper City High School on Saturday, April 27. To date, our team has raised nearly $3,000 for cancer patient programs and groundbreaking research and we are still counting! The title of the talk was Strong Leadership Ethics & Inclusivity Drive Corporate Culture to New Heights, and was moderated by Jeff Greenfield. Over 50 participants interacted with the speakers.

CMA & Turner Construction Participated in Community Clean-Up

CMA staff Carlos Tijerino, Jazmin Cruz, Nick Karpathy, Jessica Diaz, Sathvika Ramaji, Patrick Kaimrajh and Greg Mendez joined together with Turner Construction in a Kayak Community Cleanup on Saturday, April 20 at Pelican Island Harbor Marina in Miami. Volunteers teamed in kayaks and collected eight burlap sacks of waste along Pelican Island!

NUCA Top Job Award

NUCA Top Job Award

Johnson Davis won the NUCA Top Job Award for the Aerial Crossings Replacement project in the City of Margate. This award is presented to projects that are unique and completed with excellent results.

 

Chen Moore and Associates and Carollo Engineers provided design, permitting, and construction oversight services for the replacement of 8 water and force main aerial utility crossings at 6 different locations throughout the City of Margate service area. The project involved the design and construction administration of the pipeline replacements including external coating, supports, fan guards, air release valves, isolation valves, and connections to existing pipes.
