Orange Bowl Field at Harris Field Park Grand Opening Ceremony
CMA Senior Construction Specialist and Project Manager Jose McCray attended the grand opening ceremony for the Orange Bowl Field at Harris Field Park in Homestead. CMA provided civil engineering services as a subconsultant to The Orange Bowl Committee. Carty Architecture was also part of our team.
Attendees at the ceremony enjoyed performances by local marching bands and remarks from community leaders. There were also free kidsメ games, bounce houses, barbecue and refreshments. Annual Chen Moore Family Picnic Enjoyed By All!
The CMA Annual Family Picnic was held on Saturday, August 12 at Hugh Taylor Birch Park in Fort Lauderdale. Festivities included a BBQ lunch with a Ben and Jerryメs ice cream station, corn hole and jinga tournaments and a hula hoop contest. Prizes for gift cards were awarded to our winners. Congratulations to Stefan Bortak, CID for winning the t-shirt design contest! Everyone received a t-shirt. Approximately 100 people enjoyed the day including employees, friends and families.
CMA Participates in ASCE Broward Branch Bowl-a-thon
CMA served as platinum and silver sponsors for the 29th Annual American Society of Civil Engineers Broward Branch Bowl-A-Thon on Saturday, August 5 in Tamarac at Sawgrass Lanes. CMA Community Involvement ~ Big Brothers Big Sisters of Palm Beach & Martin Counties, Inc.
Our WPB office participated in the School to Work Summer Program for the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Palm Beach & Martin Counties, Inc. The program started on June 29th and ended on July 27th. The program gave high school students the opportunity to visit CMAメs office and experience a day as an engineer or landscape architect. Our staff shared their personal experiences with the students and showed them what we do on a daily basis. The ASCE Florida Section Annual Meeting took place in Orlando from July 20 -22. Chen Moore was represented by Jose L.
