Last Friday, CMA staff members attended the Affordable Housing Symposium at the Palm Beach Transportation Planning Agency Offices in West Palm Beach. Chaired by our very own Director of Planning Nilsa Zacarias, the event was an insightful and productive discussion on tackling affordable housing challenges in our community.

Last Thursday, our team had the honor of attending the ACEC Florida Region 2 ACEC/PAC Fundraiser Cruise Aboard the CasaMia in Jacksonville. We were thrilled to have special guest Florida Congressman John Rutherford with us, and even more excited to support the ACEC advocacy team in D.C.

What a day for the CMA staff at the Ocean Reef Chamber Golf Tournament! Not only did we have a blast on the course, but we also got to support a great cause. The proceeds from last week’s event will help provide scholarships for Chamber members of all ages. Fore!

Spending our Friday making a difference at Feeding South Florida Community Kitchen! Our team worked hard to prepare and package food for 400 senior citizens in need. It’s moments like this that remind us of the power of giving back.

We had an insightful morning at the SMPS North Florida Transportation Industry Breakfast on April 24! Our team had the opportunity to connect with leaders from FDOT District 2, Jacksonville Aviation Authority, North Florida TPO, Jaxport, and CSX to discuss industry trends and upcoming projects. CMA was proud to be a Program sponsor for this event.

Last night, our CMA staff had the honor of attending the ASCE Palm Beach Branch’s Engineers in Government Night at the stunning West Palm Beach Lake Pavilion! It was incredible to celebrate and recognize the exceptional engineers making a difference in Palm Beach County. CMA was a platinum sponsor for the event.

The Nancy J Cotterman Center has achieved LEED Gold Certification by U.S. Green Building Council! The proposed project consists of the design and construction of the NHCC Broward County treatment center facility in Oakland Park, Florida. The site is approximately 2 acres and it will have a 2-story building of approximately 28,000-gsf.  CMA is the Civil Engineer of Record and the Landscape Architect of Record, providing demolition, paving, grading, drainage, water, sewer, signage and marking, landscape, hardscape and irrigation design, permitting, and construction administration services. CMA is working on the project with Saltz Michelson Architects.
