CMA staff members Stefan Bortak, PLA, ASIC, CID, Brittany Bourgault, Nicholas Karpathy, E.I., ENV SP, and Gregory Mendez, P.E. attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony for Doral White Course Park on May 4. The park is located within the Downtown Doral South development. The space includes a shaded playground, a flexible event plaza, outdoor fitness stations, an off-leash fenced dog area, multi-purpose greenspace, a restroom building with IT closet, rain gardens picnic shelters, space for public art, walkways and lighting. CMA provided design development, construction documents, bidding and permitting, and construction administration for the 2.7 acre park.

CMA Principal Engineer Suzanne Dombrowski Honored at ASCE Event
Congratulations to CMA Principal Engineer Suzanne Dombrowski, P.E., ENV SP who was recently named the ASCE Palm Beach Branch 2022 Engineer of the Year! She was honored at the 2022 Engineers in Government Night on Thursday, April 21 at the Boynton Beach Arts and Cultural Center. In addition, CMA intern Sara Hollenbeck, E.I., was awarded a scholarship! CMA Project Engineer Justin Tagle, P.E., LEED AP helped organize the evening’s festivities, and CMA Associate Engineer Nickolas Musick, E.I., presented the scholarships. Running for President-Elect for American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), Peter Moore is combining his 25 years of service to the engineering profession, his dedication to ASCE, and coupled with his strong leadership background in business and the non-profit world, to support his candidacy.
