Exciting news from the Florida APA conference in Tampa! Our very own CMA team attended, and Nilsa Zacarias, AICP and Sara Benbasat took the stage to present on Protecting Community Character. It was a night of celebrating the outstanding efforts and accomplishments of award winners, scholarship recipients, life members, institute and committee members, as well as the board of directors. Wow! What an amazing accomplishment by the CMA team! We were able to collect over $1,000 in school supplies for the Broward Education Foundation. Our team delivered the donations on August 15th and got a tour of the amazing work they do for Broward County educators. Thank you to everyone who donated! Let’s make this school year a great one for all students in our community.

Last week, our CMA staff had the incredible opportunity to attend the Florida League of Cities Conference at the beautiful Diplomat Beach Resort in Hollywood. 🌴☀️ It was an amazing experience to connect with municipal officials and experts, and learn about innovative strategies for Florida’s future.
