Calling all nature lovers and environmental warriors! The CMA’s Community Service Committee hosted a Kayak Intracoastal Cleanup on Saturday May 11 at Whiskey Creek Hideout in Dania Beach. Together, we cleaned up 4 bags of trash, making a real difference for our beautiful coastline. Let’s keep our oceans clean and pristine!

Our CMA staff showed their competitive spirit at the Simply IOA Corporate 5k Run in Downtown Orlando. It was a hot one, so the organizers shortened the route, but our team still powered through and finished safely! Way to go team!

Today, our CMA staff had the honor of attending the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce event where our very own Brent Whitfield, P.E., ENV SP presented as part of the ‘Building Resilience’ panel. We are proud to be a part of this important conversation and to share our expertise with fellow industry professionals.
Last Friday, CMA staff members attended the Affordable Housing Symposium at the Palm Beach Transportation Planning Agency Offices in West Palm Beach. Chaired by our very own Director of Planning Nilsa Zacarias, the event was an insightful and productive discussion on tackling affordable housing challenges in our community.
Last Thursday, our team had the honor of attending the ACEC Florida Region 2 ACEC/PAC Fundraiser Cruise Aboard the CasaMia in Jacksonville. We were thrilled to have special guest Florida Congressman John Rutherford with us, and even more excited to support the ACEC advocacy team in D.C.
